My goal is to run faster than I will tech for (no cage, so 11.50) and hang the tires. Its a simple goal, but its been years since I've drag raced, and never in anything this fast. The tentative plan is a 5.3 with a cam, tuning, and a little bit of nitrous, a TH350, short side narrowed 8.8, Caltracs and cheapo drag shocks.
Well I am not back there to see it.. I need a gopro.. but I was reading like a billion threads on the internet about caltracs and not hooking.. I figure if 9sec s10's can hook with caltracs.. my 160hp 305 with baby blower should hook like glue.. it did with the traction bars.. nothing changed going from the T-bars to the caltracs..
