But there's the half hour run, and then let's say they lose 2 hours during the day to peeing/picking up food, maybe calling the girlfriend or whatever. That's 14.5 hours of billed time.

My understanding is that many stay in biglaw and then lateral or go to midlaw, go inhouse, whatever -- and many are still chained with the golden handcuffs.
